Qingdao Global Marine Safetycare Technology Co., Ltd. (GMScare) specializes in research on water environment ecology, including Marine Discharge Water (Ballast Water, Scrubber Wash Water, Bilge Water, Gray Water, Sewage Water), Boiler Water, Drinking Water, Biofoulings, and waters nearshore and surrounding areas.

With more than half of our staff holding doctoral or master’s degrees, GMScare has formed a professional team of high-level testing engineers, approved by CMA, CNAS, ABS, and LR. In December 2019, we signed a cooperation agreement with Shanghai Ocean University (SHOU), becoming the Exclusive Business Team and Cooperative Lab of the SHOU Ballast Water Detecting Lab (SHOU-BWDL), as well as its Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Base. SHOU-BWDL is the only lab in China approved by both IMO and USCG for land-based & shipboard BWMS type approval tests. It is also accepted by DNV and recommended by LR as a Service Supplier for IMO D-2 biological efficacy tests during BWMS commissioning.

We hold CMA and CNAS accreditations and are widely recognized/recommended by international authorities including ABS, LR, DNV, IMO, and USCG.
SmartLab System

Impartial SmartLab System: To guarantee impartiality, transparency, independence, unbiasedness, and integrity, GMScare is equipped with the SmartLab system. All Sampling & Analysis activities are real-time cloud-recorded, key-point notated, and remotely supervised by experts, synchronously shared with the office and concerned parties such as ROs and flag states.
Dual-Lab Configuration

Fixed & Mobile Labs: Our Mobile Labs can immediately conduct Detailed Analysis on-site if Indicative Analysis fails during IMO D-2 Commissioning Biological Tests. This breaks regional limitations, ensures analysis within required timeframes, supports owners in obtaining the IBWMC within the allowable period, and helps identify root causes.
